beautyuk Nail Varnishes

Hello my lovelies,
today I thought I would give a quick review on 3 nail varnishes I've been trying out from beautyuk.

I'm sure a lot of you have already heard of this brand, I can't express enough how much I love this brand. The products are super affordable and offer some very good quality products! I've previously owned nail varnishes from beautyuk, however they were just from their standard range, never the less I was impressed with them, so you can imagine my excitement when I found out their nail varnish range had branched out into more artistic products!

Denim FX in 'Blue Denim'
The first of the three I have to show you today is a varnish from their posh polish range. It is a Denim FX varnish, which as you can probably tell from the title, gives the illusion of denim looking nails. The varnish applies glossy, and dries matte with subtle silver undertones. I picked up the 'blue denim' shade but this varnish is also available in 'black denim'. I was highly impressed with this varnish, like I said it dries matte, but your nails still look shimmery and glitzy due to the little flecks of silver. This varnish also lasts a very long time without chipping which is great.

Matte Topcoat
I have been looking for an affordable matte top coat for sometime now, but I was always under the illusion of 'you get what you pay for' and that the more affordable brands wouldn't be as good as I was expecting. So I was pretty anxious about this varnish. However, I am once again very impressed. I applied a Barry M purple varnish to my nails first before applying the top coat, and as you can see from the photo above, my nails were completely matte! The only downside to this varnish is that the top coat isn't very hard wearing as it kind of makes your varnish chip away a little bit faster, but I don't think you could really complain for the price as it does the job!

Glitter Collection- Mermaid
I was very excited about this varnish as the colour looks absolutely gorgeous on beautyuk's website. However, I was slightly disappointed when it arrived as the colour looks more turquoise on their website, yet in person it is a very leafy green. Also please bare in mind that I used the flash on my camera for the above photo so it may look slightly lighter. Apart from the colour, I was very impressed with this varnish too. The colour pay off is incredible. There is nothing worse than a glitter nail varnish which only shows up after 10 or so coats. But with this varnish, 1 or 2 coats and your good to go.

Overall I really like the these 3 varnishes and I would say if you are looking for something to try more complicated nail looks but don't want to spend a fortune, I would definitely recommend looking at the range beautyuk have on offer!
