Smooch Cosmetics Haul

Hello my lovelies,
This week I was sent some makeup from Smooch Cosmetics. I have seen many reviews of the company on youtube etc so I was excited to try out their range.
                    'Cosmetics with Sex Appeal'

Blusher in 'Glamour Puss'

The first thing I noticed about the compacts Smooch has on offer is the packaging. It is very sleek, simple, and sophisticated and the material is not slip. There is nothing worse than paying a fair amount for a product and being faced with cheap easily broken packaging. The packaging is very reminiscent of NARS compacts, just with a better price tag!

I received a blusher in the shade 'Glamour Puss' which is a soft pink which gives a nice rosey tint to the cheeks! The colour blends in really easily so if you're like me and are rather pale, this blusher will be perfect for you. Saying that, it is also very buildable, if you want a more bold pay off! My favourite thing about this blush is the fact it's a matte blush, for me personally, I don't think I suit makeup with shimmer in. So along with the fact that this blush really suits my skin tone

Bronzer in 'Smooched'

Another compact I revieved was this gorgeous bronzer in the shade 'Smooched'. Again, as a pale person, I tend to find it difficult to find a bronzer which is not too harsh or dark on my skin tone. I really rate this bronzer highly, as this, just like the blusher, blends in really nicely to give a subtle contouring. The only negative for me, is that it does contain shimmer, but that is just personal preference.

Lipstick in 'Gossip'

One of my favourite pieces I received  was a lipstick in the shade 'Gossip'. This is the ideal lip shade for everyday where as it is a nice peachy/coral tone, which is just the sort of colours I wear for an everyday look! This lipstick is very moisturising which is great in these colder months, yet gives a semi matte finish, which I love!

Eyeshadow Duo in 'Dirty Martini'

The eyeshadow duo in 'Dirty Martini' consists of two shades, a rich champagne colour, and an olive green, both with shimmer. Although I mentioned before I am not a fan of shimmer, I can make an exception with eyeshadow. These colours have great pigmentation and can either be worn as individuals or blended together to create a more contoured look. I have posted a picture above of the look I created using the champagne colour on the base of my lid, and the olive green in my crease.

Kohl Pencil Liner

I was very excited when I opened up the Kohl Liner from Smooch as it was double ended. One side obviously contains the pencil, and the other side has a small brush for smudging your liner if you want less of a harsh line. I have never owned an eyeliner such as this so I was eager to try it out, and I loved it! The formula of the pencil glides on easily and is not scratchy or grainy like most pencils, and the brush is really good quality which gives an amazing fine detail to a smokey eye look which is perfect for winter!

Liquid Liner & Mascara

The final two products I received from Smooch, were a liquid eyeliner and a mascara, both in black. The liquid eyeliner, is probably my favourite product from the section I received  I myself, use a felt tip liner as I often find liquid liners harder to apply ad often they can be very wet so smudge rather easily. However, this liner is the exact opposite, it does not have a flimsy brush so it gives you plenty of control and allows the product to glide across the lid, and the formula is not at all too wet, and dries nicely without smudging! The liner also is very long lasting, and stays on throughout the day!
The mascara also has a nice formula, which does not clump or create 'spider lashes'. The only thing I would say against this mascara is it is rather difficult to remove at the end of the day, but that also means it's long lasting so it will definitely stay on in all weather conditions!
