January Favourites 2014

Hello my lovelies,
I can't believe how quick this month has gone, 2014 seems as if it's going to fly by! Since it's the end of the month, it means its favourites time! Wow it literally feels like last week I was writing my December favourites..
Since Christmas has just left us I've been trying out so many new products that I received! A lot of the products I'm still trying out before I can class them as a 'favourite', which might explain why only two of my products today were Christmas presents.

Let's start with hair. So my hair has been feeling pretty dry and dull this month. A trip to the hairdressers was needed to get rid of those split ends! When searching through my hair products to find something to give my hair the boost it needed, I came across an old favourite of mine, the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer. This is one of the best products I've ever tried. It strengthens your hair and adds elasticity which prevents breakages. It is pricey, but well worth it.
The next product is um, a bit different? Does anyone else really struggle to brush their hair when it's wet? Mine get's so knotted it's ridiculous! I came across this Detangler and I seem to always remember my mam buying this for me as a child, so I thought why not give it a go. It does exactly what it says, smells gorgeous, and has Ariel on the front, yay!

The next product isn't really beauty related but I just had to include it. I am definitely a lover of burning candles, so I was happy to receive two of these Salted Caramel Candles from my boyfriend and best friend (creepy how they both picked the same scent right?!) This smells soooo delicious, it really does make you want to eat it, but don't! Definitely a great scent for the winter.
I recently mentioned Soap & Glory's hand food in my last post. Again, this is an old favourite I've fell in love with again.

On to makeup products now. Again, I mentioned these two in my What's in my Bag post. The Collection Concealer is great for covering up any blemishes. It's such good coverage for the price too. Was defnitley pleasantly surprised! Benefit's Girl Meets Pearl is a great highlighter which will give your cheeks a subtle glow without overloading on shimmer.

The Brow Definer from Avon is another old favourite of mine. It's a great pencil if you want to create more of a dramatic brow look! Mine is in the shade Dark Brown. The final favourite from January is the False Lash Effect Mascara from Max Factor. I don't own many Max Factor products, but this is something I've really been loving. It adds length, doesn't clump, and is super easy to remove. I love that it gives the illusion of wearing false lashes, but makes them look natural as it separates your lashes rather than clumping them together with a thick formula.

That's all my favourites for this month! What have you been loving through January?
