The Best Daily Skincare Essentials from Nivea

Nivea has always been one of those brands I've trusted and used for years and years. Even when I was little, I remember the likes of my Mum and Nana using Nivea products on the daily. One thing Nivea always get right is skincare basics. They understand people have different skincare needs, and therefore have created several amazing product ranges to help customise your skincare routine without making things too complicated or time consuming!

Like I said, I've been using Nivea for a number of years know so have tested various different products to find out what works best for my body and skin - which is exactly what I'm sharing with you today! These are five of my go to Nivea daily essentials that get the job done, and never let me down!

3-in-1 Urban Skin Detox Clay Wash

This product is a prime example of why I love Nivea products sooo much - 3 uses in 1 product! This product can be used as a facial wash, scrub and mask. Enriched with Black Rice, and extracts of Green Tea and Natural Clay. The Urban Skin Detox range is specifically formulated to prevent any skin problems which may arise from air pollution. I would highly recommend this product for those with oiler skin as mattifying and sebum reducing. I mainly use this as a daily cleanser to remove dirt trapped in my pores. However, I do get quite oily around my T-Zone, which is when I like to use this a mask to mattify my skin by removing excess oils.

Biodegradable Cleansing Wipes

You've probably all heard all sorts about how terrible wet wipes are for the environment and our marine life. Well thankfully Nivea have now created their own Biodegradable wipes with the aim to prevent any further pollution! Their wipes contain no traces of plastic and are made completely out of renewable plant fibres. They work just as well at removing dirt and makeup as their original cleansing wipes so don't worry! They're also enriched with Aloe Vera, making them great for those with sensitive skin. I'm not a massive wet wipe using, and usually use cotton pads to remove my makeup, but these are perfect for throwing in your bag if you're in a rush or travelling!

So once you've cleansed and prepped your skin, you're going to want to apply a good moisturiser. The one I've been loving lately is Nivea's Daily Essentials Light Day Cream. This is specifically designed for normal to combination skin types, so is a lighter texture that absorbs into the skin quickly. This is perfect for me as my skin doesn't need a lot of hydration so anything to thick and heavy tends to break me out. But my favourite thing about this moisturiser is that it has SPF 15 in it meaning it doubles up as a sunscreen to protect your from any harmful rays!

This is probably my favourite Nivea product of all time! I have used their Lip Balms since I was about 13 so I think it's safe to say this is definitley up there as one of their best products for me. Packed with essential oils and a brand new melt in formula, these lip balms are guaranteed to leave your lips feeling smooth and moisturised for 24 hours! Plus they come in a range of amazing scents and colours, the one I've currently got in my makeup bag is the Mango Shine Balm which smells delicious!

And the final product isn't really a skincare product, but is definitley a daily essential I'm sure you'll agree! The Nivea Dry Fresh Anti- Perspirant Spray is their most powerful protection against sweat and odour yet. It contains two anti-perspirant actives to ensure your skin is left feeling dry and fresh for as long as possible. It also contains 0% ethyl alcohol so you don't have to worry about any skin irritations or problems if you're more on the sensitive side.

In my opinion you really can't go wrong with Nivea's skincare products, especially if you're looking for something to use on the daily! No matter what your skin type and needs you'll find a range of products suited and formulated especially to you.
