Time for another monthly favourites post! I actually had a lot of things this month that I could have included but I've narrowed it down to 5 items.
1. MAC Prep & Prime Fix+
This product is essentially a primer/setting spray. I personally find it works best applying before foundation. It freshens up your skin and creates a nice smooth base to layer your foundation onto. This primer also adds a little bit of hydration into your skin as it is water based.
2. Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Velvet
Too Faced's Melted Lipstick's are my go to lip products. I love everything about them, the packaging is simple yet fun, the texture is creamy an light, and the pigmentation and staying power is insane! Melted Velvet is my newest addition to my collection and is a dark deep red. I don't own many red lipsticks but since its winter and Christmas is coming up I thought it's the perfect time to get my hands on one!
3. Benefit Gimme Brow
The eyebrow struggle is real recently. How do you achieve amazing brows? I'm still not sure I've found the answer but I have found a product I really enjoy. Gimme brow is essentially a mascara for your brows, making them look fuller, darker and generally just a bit more presentable. Great if your'e in a rush! The only downside is that I think it's a tad expensive for how small the product is!
4. theBalm Mary Lou Manizer
I'm probably the last one on the bandwagon here.. This highlighter has changed my life. Like a lot of people I was using MAC's Soft & Gentle daily, but throughout the day I was noticing it almost left a light orange streak across my cheeks, not a good look! I searched for a paler highlight and came across Mary Lou Manizer. A perfect highlight for us pale skinned gals!
5. Real Techniques Fan Brush
This brush came as part of the Sculpting Set. Fan brushes are great for highlighting and contouring. This works hand in hand with Mary Lou Manizer to give me a nice glowy sheen to my cheekbones and has slowly become an everyday essential in my routine!
