I'm not normally one to post about skincare too much as I tend to just stick to what I know works well for me and my skin. However, I had to make an exception when I came across this particular range, it was too intriguing to pass up! For the past couple of weeks I've been testing out a couple of products from skinChemists Caviar Range. The two products I have from the range are the 'Advanced Caviar Facial Serum' and the 'Advanced Caviar Night Moisturiser'.
The Serum is designed to boost, hydrate and smooth your skin. This would work best for those who have dry or damaged skin or want to prevent aging. Ingredients such as Caviar Extract, Seaweed Extract and Aloe Vera all contribute to these desired outcomes. The Caviar protects your skin from any harmful rays, whilst the Seaweed and Aloe Vera detox the skin and work towards healing and regenerating the skin. The Night Moisturiser is to be applied after the Serum and aims to replenish, revive and repair the skin. Just like the serum, the moisturiser contains caviar extract, but instead has added Protease to break down dead cells and balance pH levels, and Vitamin infused Shea Butter to deeply hydrate.
Although at 21, I don't have any aging issues, I can see why this serum would be such a hit with people of an older age. After using this my skin feels very tight and uplifted, especially in the brow/forehead area. The moisturiser however is definitely my favourite of the two, the 'healthy glow' this gives your face is just incredible. I've also noticed that it seems to have prevented any breakouts from occurring which means my skin is 100% clear for the first time in what seems like forever. The only downside for me is the hefty price tag, but then it gets me thinking maybe we should invest more in skincare rather than makeup, which I'm very guilty of.
