Finding the Best Palmer's Products for You and Your Skin

Anytime my skin is having a rough time I always turn to one brand to bring my skin back to life, and that's Palmer's. I have been using Palmer's original Cocoa Butter formula for as long as I can remember and it's always done my skin wonder! Well several years later, Palmer's have now released their much loved body lotion and hand cream in two new formulas - Coconut Oil and Raw Shea. Both of these new formulas contain different key ingredients, giving us the choice to pick the products best suited to our specific skin and bodycare needs.

Coconut Oil Body Lotion & Hand Cream

Between the two, the Coconut Oil formula is definitely my favourite. My skin is somewhere in the middle on the spectrum, it's fairly normal with the occasional dry patches. The Coconut Oil formula is slightly thinner and lighter, so sinks into the skin very quickly. For me, this makes the Body Lotion a great daily moisturiser! This particular formula contains ingredients such as Coconut and Monoī Oil which is great for hydrating, and pampering your skin to keep it looking and feeling it's best. It also contains Sweet Almond Oil also soothes and comforts your skin from any minor irritations. To ensure your skin is left feeling radiant and healthy, the Body Lotion is jam packed full of naturally occurring fatty acids and proteins! As previously mentioned, if you don't have any major skin concerns, this is a great choice for day to day, not to mention it smells amaaaaazing!

Raw Shea Body Lotion & Hand Cream

On the other hand, the Raw Shea Butter formula is a little bit thicker, and heavier than the Coconut Oil, so is perfect for those with drier skin which needs a little bit more TLC. It's still jam packed full of wonderful ingredients such as Shea Butter, Oatmeal Extract and Marula to moisturise, protect and heal your skin. I'd highly recommend this formula for anyone who has any skin irritations, or those with conditions such as eczema as these products will really soothe your problem areas whilst keeping them hydrated and moisturised. It also contains high levels of anti-oxidant emollients that help reverse skin dehydration. I tend to pull out these products in the colder months when my skin is feeling more dry than usual, or I apply it to specific areas such as around my elbows, hands and feet.

As expected, both of these formulas are just as luxurious feeling as the original Cocoa Butter range and leave your skin feeling soft and pampered! I really think you can't go wrong with Palmer's products, as both of these formulas are free of Parabens, Pthalates, Gluten, Sulfates and Dyes!

Which do you prefer, Raw Shea or Coconut Oil?
