3 Ways to Celebrate This Valentine's Day in Lockdown

For those of us who are in relationships, Valentine's is going to look a lot different for most of us this year. But that's okay. You can still make the day special and celebrate at home! If I've learned one thing this year, it's definitley to appreciate the small things in life. So yes, a romantic getaway would be a dream. But ultimately, it's more about the company right? So here are 3 ways you can still celebrate Valentine's Day in Lockdown:

Enjoy a Candlelit Dinner

If this were a normal Valentine's I'd usually be spending it eating out at our favourite restaurant for the night whilst enjoy a drink or two. Obviously, that's not possible right now. But that doesn't mean you can't bring the restaurant to you, right? Why not try and recreate your partners favourite dish at your go to restaurant. Go all out and set the table with some flowers and candles to create that perfect romantic setting. If you want to truly impress your partner, have a crack at making the starters and dessert too!

Have a Spa Night

Booking a Spa Day was something I had planned on doing for my birthday last year, which obviously didn't happen. So I had my fingers crosses that maybe we could squeeze it in for Valentine's instead - I was wrong again! Now, I'm just going to create my own little 'at home' spa night. Think face masks, massages, champagne, the lot! If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, I'd highly recommend checking out the Baylis & Harding Valentine's range as they've got some fantastic products you could incorporate into your spa night. From bubble oils and fizzers, to lotions and candles, you'll find everything you need to set up your at home Spa!

Create a Hamper Basket

There's no shame in gifts being your love language! One of my favourite things to both give and receive is a custom hamper. It's a gift that won't break the bank, but still shows you've put in that extra effort! You can fill this with all of your partners favourite things, there really are no rules. You could go down the theme route, so for example a 'Movie Night' hamper full of sweet treats, popcorn, a bottle of wine and your favourite movie. The possibilities really are endless if you unlock that creativity!
