One Night at Newton Hall's Cabin Walk

The minute Newton Hall announced the addition of their brand new Cabin Walk rooms this summer, I knew I had to visit! Consisting of 27 garden rooms and located not far from the main hall, these cabins make for the perfect Northumberland staycation. Luckily, I only live about an hour's drive from Newton Hall so we decided to book a little Friday night getaway!

Upon arrival, we were greeted and given our key to a cabin - we were booked into room 17. The cabins are all located along winding gravel paths which makes the rooms feel like a cute little village. Our room had a small terrace out front which had a table and chairs before entering into the main bedroom. And beyond the large sliding door you'll find the bedroom. We really loved the industrial, scandi style decor in which the cabin had been decorated. The bedroom was equipped with a queen sized bed, two armchairs, a desk with a retro style radio, and a large wifi enabled tv.

Behind the bed is where you'll find the wardrobes, safe, and tea/coffee facilities. Amongst this, there is a set of double doors which lead out into the bathroom located at the back of the cabin. I absolutely loved the style of this bathroom, from the stone sink, to the gold shower heads, it was very modern and clean. Continuing backwards, if you leave the bathroom via the sliding door at the back of the cabin, there is your very own private garden/terrace area equipped with a fire pit, and wooden hot tub.

One thing to note also, is when you're checking in you are offered breakfast The Joiners Arms which is just located down the road, or a selection of snacks brought to your room. We opted for the room service as we wanted to have a lie in, but were pleasantly surprised by the selection offered. Inside our bag was breakfast butties, granola and yoghurt pots, cereal bars, muffins, apples and smoothies.

We had a fantastic stay at Newton Hall's Cabin Walk, and would love to visit again in the future. It made for a lovely staycation for a well deserved break. We even took the opportunity the following day to explore some of the Northumberland coast, and enjoy some fish and chips at The Joiners Arms for lunch!
