Perfect Pastel Nails For Spring '17

Spring Pastel Nails

It's no secret that everyone loves a subtle pastel nail in the springtime, myself included. Don't get me wrong, I love the dark vampy colours in Autumn/Winter, but it's nice to add a bit more colour to your wardrobe and accessories. I don't really buy too many nail polishes anymore as I have waaaay too many to even use these days. But I thought it would still be fun to share some old favourites of mine for this season.

Barry M Spring Pastel Nails, Strawberry Ice Cream, Sugar Apple

1. Barry M Strawberry Ice Cream
Starting with a lovely pale pink, we have Strawberry Ice Cream. This has been one of my go to shades since I was in school! To be honest, Barry M have a fantastic range of pastel colours, hence my next choice:

Since green is my favourite colour, I tend to gravitate to this one more than any other in my collection. Sugar Apple is part of the 'Gelly' collection, which mean your nails are left looking extra glossy and fabulous.

Sadly this polish isn't available anymore as it's part of the Sinful Colours and Kylie Jenner collab. However I did manage to find it on amazon for pretty cheap. This a gorgeous satin finish with teeny tiny hints of shimmer.

If anything, just buy this for the scent.. yup, it really smells like bananas! Seriously, this is a gorgeous pastel yellow shade!

And finally a polish from their HyperGel collection! Just like the Barry M polishes, this collection gives a glossy gel like finish. The pigmentation of these polishes are incredible.

To be honest there is so many more I could have included. But best to keep it short and sweet by only including my most used!
What are your pastel polish suggestions?

  9. Great post, thanks for sharing! I have not worn nail polish in ages if we're being honest.. It just always chips and gets ruined with all the typing I do at my job and with blogging lol. I've tried to get it professionally done as well, but still run into the same issue, it's so frustrating! But when I do polish, I always go for OPI or Essie!

  21. OMG. I love nail polish, nail art and anything related to nails and I LOVE pastel colors. As a painter they are the color I prefer using and also in my everyday life because they are so simple and beautiful, they don't stand out much but they elegantly add a touch of color to anything.
So this is definitely the perfect combo! I'll check out all the nail polishes you listed :)

  24. You got to love DIY, and Pinterest is definitely your best friend when it comes down to DIY but, sometimes the DIY doesn't look the same as the picture on Pinterest πŸ˜‚. Aww man, if I were to make birthday cake soap, I'll probably eat it. Lol ...

    Much love,

  27. When setting up a nail salon you would want to establish a chic atmosphere. A glass frontage would be nice so that people passing by could look in and see you at work. Cleanliness would be crucial in bringing in business. Nails
