Clavicle Is the New Cleavage

It's finally Spring! After what feels like a lifetime of rain, snow, and baltic winds, we can finally start to take off a few of our layers and enjoy the sunshine! Now don't get me wrong, even in spring it can still be a little chilly, especially for us Brits, so I doubt I'll be pulling out the denim shorts quite yet. Buuuut, we can definitely start letting a little bit more skin peek through our clothes, right girls?!

Something I absolutely adore pulling out in the springtime are bardot tops. With the option of short AND long sleeve, you can still be warm, but show a little bit of skin and look cute. After all, they do say clavicle is the new cleavage! In the spring when it's still a little bit of a chill in the air, I'll often wear these out for date nights, or a nice meal out.

I usually pair them with a nice pair of trousers or jeans, and some heeled boots or sandals. That way pretty much everything else is covered up, buuut you've still got a little bit of collarbone showing! Gals, if you're self conscious of your boobs or your tummy, bardot tops will be your best friend! That's not to say you should hide yourself away, but I know for me personally, if I'm looking a little bloated, I will struggle to find a top that I feel confident it. The loose fitted design is so flattering on all body sizes and shapes! It's an classy and elegant, yet still has that sex appeal with your shoulders and collarbones on show!

This particular Bardot top from Tobi, is  a great transitional piece. It's not too crazy in colour, making it a great day to night outfit, but still is very Spring/Summer with the stunning floral print. Pop this on with a skirt or some shorts in the summer and this top will be a great investment for months to come!

How would you style this top? What are you most looking forward to wearing this Spring/Summer?

  9. I am so on board with clavicle being the new cleavage haha! I don't have much cleavage on offer but I DO have collar bones so I'm happy with that! Bardot tops are some of my favourites to wear, they add a little bit of glam so effortlessly! I love how you've styled yours with the ripped jeans and the red bag - you look gorgeous as always!
